MY SYSTEM

By drawing on my 16 years personal fitness experience and the principles of my National Academy of Sports Medicine certification, I've created a system that is extremely effective with trainees at any level. This framework ENSURES that on the path to reaching their transformation goals, all of my clients have the opportunity to not only enhance performance and posture, but also to clean up faulty movement mechanics that lead to chronic joint pain and potentially devastating injuries.

 Three levels and five phases

01 / STABILIZATION

Level 1 Phase 1. 

Regardless of the level of the client, everyone begins here with me. This way you demonstrate the strengths and weaknesses that we both can then clearly see. That being said if starting as a "beginner". Phase one is most important as it integrates the nervous system, core and stabilization muscles.. Which is key for "Optimal" or "Proper" adaptation/progression for larger loads and more intense training. All exercise performed thus in an unstable but yet controlled environment [proprioception enriched environment]. This phase and level, in my opinion, is the most important for communication between the client and their trainer. 

02 / STRENGTH

Level 2 Phases 2, 3 & 4

Now that you have successfully completed phase 1 and your body's muscles are stabilized and ready for more. We start progressively increasing the intensity, by amount of exercises in your workout, amount of weight in each set, decreasing or increasing the rest between sets and playing the sets tempo with medium to low repetitions.

03 / POWER

Level 3 Phase 5 

Power Training should be the goal for any healthy individual, as this phase can help not only with your daily lifestyle, but also improves your athletic performance. Phase 5’s purpose is to enhance Neuromuscular Efficiency, improve prime mover (muscle) strength, increase the rate of force production, and enhance speed.

MEET CARL

MY STORY

Carlton Cameron has been in the fitness world since the young age of thirteen. He knows the feeling of being that fat kid, consequences of poor diet choices and lack of physical activity. Noticing his appearance didn’t look optimal and performing easy enough exercises in gym class were becoming harder and harder. He decided it was time for a lifestyle change.  He thus began weightlifting and kickboxing which led him to his new-found passion.

Now more then ever he wants to share his knowledge with the public.  Conditioning and strength training with using the optimal performance model (opt). Targeting the individual's goals and weaknesses in order to become bigger, stronger and faster. 

MY METHODS​

Providing optimal training for each client's needs and goals. Using the taught knowledge from the Optimal Performance Training Model. Which guides the client through various exercise judging upon the situation and level of that person. Confident with his training he guarantees just after the initial session you will be more conscious and efficient with your everyday body movement.
